Sovren

UX Content design

Background

Sovren provides the recruitment software industry with components for resume/job parsing and AI matching. Not sure what that is? Most people don't. That's why they needed our help — to have better storytelling and branding. Since their website read like a textbook, it was our job to redesign it to be enjoyable, digestible, user-friendly and to serve as an effective sales tool.

Execution

I played dual roles as content designer and writer for this project. After competitor research and a workshop with the client, I crafted brand messaging and positioning to define core values, attributes and voice. Working with the UX team, I accounted for different user personas as we then mapped out content using page tables. That exercise informed the wireframes we used in our prototype for user testing. After art direction came in, we had polished webpages with the right mix of messaging, visual design and informed user experience.
